Finish Basement

Remodeling, Bathroom Remodel, New Faucet Installation

We contracted with Dan Elmer, of ACE Handyman Services, to do some remodeling and fixing-up of our house. One of the projects was to fully remodel two bathrooms--replacing floor and wall tiles, bathtubs, sinks/vanities, and faucets.

The work crew, under the direction of foreman Dave Krupski, did a fantastic job. The new tubs and vanities, and especially the new ceramic tiles around the bathtub and on the floor, look great. Unfortunately, they encountered problem leaks that had to be fixed, and they had to make new faucets fit with old pipes. They rose to the challenge and were able to get everything installed, repaired, etc., and we are now enjoying our sparkling new bathrooms.

The crew was very easy to work with. Their desire to get everything done well, along with professional attention to detail, makes our recommendation of their services very easy.

Painting, Cleaning Gutters, Ceiling Repair

After locating ACE Handyman Home Improvements in the Shepherd's Guide, I called them to assist with several household projects: cleaning our gutters, painting a large recreational room, repairing ceilings, and adding wood cove base, to name a few.

I want to commend this company for their excellent work, fair and reasonable costs, and extremely thoughtful work ethic and attitude. Dry Wall Repair

Our residence is a town home we bought new in 1997. As with all homes it has needed repairs with the passage of time. So we inquired of neighbors, friends, and realtors to find a capable, reliable and honest company to help us with the upkeep of our home.

We eventually found ACE Handyman listed in the Shepherd's Guide and called ACE to repair flaws in the dry wall throughout the house. We were given an estimate over the phone and someone came to do the repairs at our convenience that same week.

When we needed a ceramic repair in the master bath ACE Handyman was our first thought. A very capable repair person came to complete the work in one evening.

We like ACE Handyman and would recommend the company to others because ACE Handyman responded quickly, was knowledgeable of home repairs, gave a firm estimate over the phone, scheduled based on our need, arrived as promised, provided friendly and courteous personnel, accomplished the work in a timely manner and left the work site clean.

We were very happy with the work ACE Handyman did in our home each time and we will probably have a need to call again.

Bathroom Remodel

When contractor after contractor failed to return my calls or performed a hurried and disinterested estimate, I was lucky enough to come across Dan at Ace Handyman for my bathroom remodel. Both Dan and one of his contractors each came to my house and both reviewed the job in great detail. The estimate was competitive and Dan's extra effort is what sold me on his company.

Once the job started, my assigned and very experienced contractor did a great job at scheduling and handling any issues as they arose. After reviewing the tiling job at hand, my contractor had the know-how to bring in another experienced tiler and he didn't hesitate. Together the team did a superb job.

Even when a personal circumstance arose with my primary contractor, Dan sent in reinforcements to do the finishing touches on the job. My remodel was completed in a perfectly acceptable amount of time.

All in all, I couldn't be happier. Knowing the quality of the work and the manner in which the business was conducted, I will keep Ace Handyman on my short list of preferred businesses to perform my home improvements.
